SADA or Sustainable Alternative Development Association is an umbrella organization which includes the Homenet North Project. SADA’s working strategy revolves around gender equality, cooperation, partnership and participation. For its part, the Homenet North project aims to strengthen the capacities of homebased workers (HBWs) in production and management; promote HBWs’ organizations; promote labor standards and social protection and influence government policies in relation to legal and social protection of HBWs. The project is targeting some 91 groups of HBWs or a total of 2,371 working under agri-product processing, gravel and metal chiseling, garments and wood carving in the northern region of Thailand.
