Homenet Southeast Asia leaders pose in front of the booth showcasing homeworker products from the Phlippines, Thailand and Indonesia during the Fair Trade Fair held Dec. 13-16  at the Hongkong Exhibition Center. Also in photo are Dr. Hesti Wijaya (third from left) ,  National Coordinator of Homenet Indonesia, and Kanoknart Ngamnetra, (third from right) , National Coordinator of Homenet Thailand.

Homenet Southeast Asia succeeded in being accredited by the WTO as an NGO focusing on trade issues. This entitled  the network to send  three representatives to the WTO Ministerial Conference in Hongkong (13-18 January 2005): the Regional Coordinator, one from PATAMABA (Olive Parilla)  because if its long-term engagement in fair trade advocacy through its Oxfam Project, and one from Homenet Thailand (Orapin Wimolpusit), which has been concerned with fair trade since the beginning of the UNIFEM project in 2001.
